We have learned that poplar trees have a relatively short life span and need to be cut down before they fall down. If there is a chance the tree will take out a power line on its way to the ground then Hydro One will send a crew to take the tree down. They are quite efficient, but unfortunately they don't buck it, split it or clean up the branches. We'll how much Wes and Mark can get cleaned up over the Christmas break before Mark has to return to university.
