Fall has arrived

RV's have been winterized, seasonal guests have headed home for the winter. Thankfully they all plan to return next summer or I would really miss them. I suppose I will get used to the cycles of a resort but for now I have nothing with which to compare. It seemed like a really good summer - the summer was fantastic - the resort guests were all wonderful. Fall seems really sad - unless you are a hunter and them I'm sure you are looking forward to moose hunting season with anticipation and rather than seeing melancholy in the dying leaves you only see the opening up of the horizon to make it easier to see the elusive moose.

The end of August Wes & I were able to find the trail to the waterfall. The waterfall is located up river towards Latchford. There is a trail up from the river - but the trail wasn't obvious until we had bushwhacked our way up the creek and were able to follow the trail back down. We tried to make the trail a little more obvious so that those who follow behind will be able to find the waterfall. I imagine it would be a lot more impressive if there was more water coming down, but the beaver was doing his best to ensure that the water didn't make it down the creek. There are more pictures of the waterfall on the photos page of the website.
